Online booking for Feb. 22 parent and caregiver teacher interviews is open now until 10:00 p.m.on February 21 at School Appointments Online. The interviews allow for quick updates of about 7 minutes each. The staff at Danforth CTI always are happy to schedule a longer meeting either by telephone or in person if there are questions or concerns that require more in-depth conversation.
Interview spaces fill up quickly, so book early!
Given the size and layout of the school, it can be challenging to schedule appointments so that you have enough time to get from one classroom to the other. The online booking site will include full schedule and map to help parents and caregivers plan appointments based on classroom location. For example, parents and caregivers may want to schedule all of their appointments for teachers on Floor B followed by all those teachers on Floor C. The classroom floors and numbers are listed next to each teacher’s name to make strategic planning a little easier.
All are encouraged to keep to the 7-minute time allocation for each interview. There will be other parents waiting who also are trying to navigate the hallways and get to their next appointment on time.
Interim report cards have been issued and will be in the mail starting Feb. 6. This is not a provincially mandated report card but instead an interim report that the Danforth CTI administration issues as a way of helping parents and caregivers to track their students’ progress. Content of the progress reports could point to areas for discussion during teacher interviews.
